I Like It Like That Cocktail Bar Opens; Bite This By Annie Announces Clintonville Shop

I Like It Like That, a new cocktail bar inside Natalie’s Grandview, opened this week. Led by Genevieve Johnson and Lindsay Koontz, the intimate and eclectic space is open for dinner from 5-9:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, then late-night hours until midnight or 1 a.m. those days. Natalie’s is located at 945 King Ave. in Grandview.

Annie Dickson, the owner of the popular baking pop-up Bite This By Annie, announced her first brick and mortar at 3009 N. High St. in Clintonville. The site was most recently home to Tudie’s Cookies & Sweets, which closed last December, and before that Pattycake Bakery. Bite This By Annie has been appearing at the Worthington Farmers Market and other events.

After a fire destroyed its West Side location last September, Shakers Public House reopened yesterday in its new home at 380 E. Wilson Bridge Road in Worthington. The restaurant and bar is open from 11 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. daily, and is known in particular for its sizeable wing selection.

Johnson’s Real Ice Cream opens its new Grandview store today, Thursday, March 21, with a ribbon-cutting at 4 p.m. The new shop, its fourth total, is located at 1325 Grandview Ave. The new store will offer free scoops of ice cream from 6-9 p.m.

Fat Girl Bakery announced that it will close for good on Saturday, March 30. The bakery is located at 6457 N. Hamilton Road in Westerville; it relocated there from Lewis Center in 2023.

Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. soft opens its second Central Ohio location this Saturday, March 23. The new shop is located at 8911 S. Old State Road in Lewis Center. A location of the Michigan-based chain opened in Hilliard in early 2023.
